Blahnik, Jimmy Choo, Christian Louboutin, and Salvatore Ferragamo to
name a few. All of them have made a career out of designing high quality shoes, although, they differ in their creative type approaches greatly.
Manolo Blahnik is a prominent Spanish foot wear designer whose shoes were
featured in a popular TV show the Sex and the City. He specializes in designing
high-end footwear such as sandals, boots, pumps, and stilettos. In 2007,
Blahnik was awarded a title of Commander of the British Empire, for his
special input in British fashion industry. This designer sells shoes internationally,
including Americas and Europe, but recently he has opened a store in Dubai,
Middle East. However one can purchase such type of shoes in the famous

Jimmy Choo is a well-known Malaysian designer, who produces a very high
quality hand-made women shoes. His clients include late Princess Diana
and Hollywood actress Katie Holmes and United States First Lady Michelle
Obama.
Christian Louboutin is a French designer, famous for keeping the soles
of all women’s shoes shiny red color. He also designs high quality women’s shoes, praised by Hollywood celebrities such as Elizabeth
Taylor, Madonna, Gwyneth Paltrow to name a few. According to Sally Singer,
a fashion news/features director for American Vogue, Louboutin “brings
a real sexy Frenchness to shoe types.”
The next giant of production of special occasion shoes is Salvatore Ferragamo.
He was not only an inventor of cage and wedge heel but also a founder of
a luxury shoe empire, which is still influential today. His stores are
opened word-wide and his types of shoes were tendered by stars such as
Eva Peron and Marilyn Monroe. Salvatore Ferragamo collection of over ten
thousands shoes can be viewed at the Salvatore Ferragamo museum in Florence.
